growth of factory farms and indiscriminate use of drugs leads to the development

recognize the important efforts made by the individuals and organizations, which
embody the essence of society; and WHEREAS: The Farm Sanctuary's Sentient
Beings Campaign is committed to promoting enhanced public health and well-being,
while bringing to the forefront animal agribusiness concerns, and WHEREAS:
Traditional farms are being replaced by industrialized operations which crowd
thousands of animals in warehouses, while the animals are being exploited by agribusinesses;
and WHEREAS: Stressed, overcrowded animals succomb to illness--some of which
