Anyone
who has had the opportunity to have
personal contact with any of the animals
exploited by agribusiness and forced
to live in concentration camp-like confinement
facilities, knows that they are sentient
beings that have physical and emotional
needs, that they have distinct personalities,
and that, if given the freedom and opportunity
to do so, they will build bonds with
their human caretakers.
