the book of Genesis, the Bible plainly
states that animal beings were specifically
created to be the companions of human
beings. It also states, unequivocally,
that homo sapiens was created
as an herbivorous species. Raising and
using animals for food, or abusing them
in any other way, is just as much a
“sin” as any other transgression
of moral law.
